Amman, Jordan, October 25, 2011 --(PR.com
)-- Le Meridien Amman, a subsidiary of Starwood Hotels and Resorts, has recently welcomed the visual Swedish artist Ragnhild Lundén, as she prepared for her second cross cultural exhibition in Jordan; “Intuition and Imagination” at the Jordan National Gallery of Fine Arts; Le Meridien Amman’s partner in the global UNLOCK ART™ programme.
Guests of Le Meridien Amman were invited to the abstract art exhibition as part of the UNLOCK ART™ programme which entails providing guests with access to contemporary cultural centres around the world, through the Unlock Art™ pass found in their room. This cultural programme aims at awakening guests’ creative curiosity and offering them opportunities to discover a different or new perspective.
“Le Meridien Amman is committed to transforming the functional and transactional check in process and hotel stay into an emotional connection for our guests summed in the award-winning program of the Arrival Experience,” said Public Relations Manager Sewar Sawalha. “This chic connection is meant to stay with the guest, by giving them a memorable experience through Le Méridien brand’s signature scent, sound and use of light that will accompany them, even after their departure.”
The UNLOCK ART™ programme introduces hotel key cards as a piece of limited edition artwork that are designed by a group of artists and designers under the name of LM100™ and become pieces of art and collectible items that guests can take home as souvenirs.
About Le Méridien
Le Méridien, the French-born hotel brand currently represented by 105 properties in 50 countries, was acquired by Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide, Inc. (NYSE: HOT) in November 2005. Since then, Le Méridien has undergone a brand transformation, which included a consolidation of its hotels and resorts, appointing a full-time Cultural Curator (French arts-provocateur Jérôme Sans) and re-inventing numerous consumer touch points, by bringing unique, curated and interactive experiences to its guests.
