)-- The 13th Annual Tewksbury Harvest Festival will take place on Saturday, Oct. 29, from 11 am to 4 pm at Christie Hoffman Farm in Califon, NJ. Sponsored by the Tewksbury Rescue Squad and many township volunteers, this year's Harvest Festival will feature hot-air balloon rides, live music, a petting zoo, pony rides, hayrides, contests, a classic car show, pumpkin painting, a pig roast, and a large craft show featuring handmade goods by local artisans juried by The Craftique Promotions.
The Craftique organizes fundraising events for such nonprofits as the Tewksbury Rescue Squad, the American Legion, the New Jersey Botanical Garden, and the Bergen County 4H.
Craftique Director Christine Cuccio Radlmann said, "We'll have fifty crafters at this year's Harvest Festival. Whatever your interests are, you're sure to find a vendor who caters to them."
Ms. Radlmann noted that shopping at crafts shows has unexpected benefits. "When you shop directly from local artists, you support this country. And it's 'greener' to shop at a fair, since you avoid shipping and huge boxes and packing materials."
The Harvest Festival admission price is $20 per carload, which includes all rides and activities, plus free door prize tickets, popcorn, and cotton candy. Christie Hoffman Farm is located at 108 Fairmount Road West, Califon, NJ. For more information call 201-978-6161.
