Canton, TX, October 30, 2011 --(PR.com
)-- The Rare Collections will exhibit a collection of vintage record albums, posters, memorabilia, collectibles, fine art rock photography and holiday gift items for sale at Canton Trade Days located at 401 North Hwy. 19 (Trade Days Blvd), Canton, TX 75103.
Canton Trade Days is billed as the world’s largest flea market, but actually boasts some of the country’s finest artisans and craftsmen as well as unique and exclusive items drawing more than 200,000 visitors each month. The monthly market started more than 150 years ago, and has grown significantly, but kept the genuine, down-home relationship between vendors and shoppers. "This is a place where you can slow down, visit and ask questions, talk to collectors and antique dealers, and meet the artists and craftsmen who create one-of-a kind items," said Martha Jane Wallace, organizer of the Lewis section of the event. The next First Monday Trade Days event is November 3-6. Booths open at 9am daily.
“We will be featuring some hand-written poetry from Jim Morrison of the Doors, Fine Art Rock Photography from Neil Zlozower, Ron Raffaelli and myself, a 1970’s - 1980’s Tour Guitar Picks & T-shirts Collection, as well as vintage records, books, and unique gift items,” said Andrew Kirby, Executive Producer of The Rare Collections.
The Rare Collections is where top collectors turn to archive, preserve, appraise and disperse their most prized pieces of pop culture and rock-n-roll memorabilia. We help collectors tell the stories behind each treasure, understand its importance in history and decide how best to preserve its legacy or realize its value.
