San Francisco, CA, April 21, 2007 --(PR.com)-- A new Nuclear Waste “Site” has opened at Frank's Haight and Cole liquors the historic Haight Ashbury district in San Francisco. The liquor store is one of a dozen or so outlets in San Francisco to carry Nuclear Waste Antidote™, a new kind of “smart” energy drink that exploded onto the market in January 2007. The stores who carry the drink are affectionately referred to as “Nuclear Waste Sites” by the Bay Area based manufacturer of the drink, Smart Energy Enterprises, Inc., as part of their provocative Raise Your Nuclear Awareness campaign.

“I used to live on Frederick at Ashbury and loved the history and rebellious energy of the Haight,” says Mark Michael Lewis, the CEO of Smart Energy Enterprises and the maker of the drink, “We believe our Nuclear Waste Antidote™ drink participates in the socially conscious and radically self-expressive attitude which that area has come to symbolize. We are proud to bring our Raise Your Awareness and Think Two Steps Ahead message to the San Francisco market.”

The SmartPowerDrinks.com website offers resources and surveys of major nuclear issues including nuclear medicine, environmental issues, and nuclear power. A portion of all profits from the sale of Nuclear Waste Antidote™ goes to support organizations that Raise Your Awareness on nuclear issues.

The drink, which is described as a new kind of “smart” energy drink, claims to add ingredients that enhance the positive effects of caffeine while virtually eliminating its negative side-effects. “That is where the philosophy meets the product,” continues Lewis, “We want to encourage everyone to Think Two Steps Ahead: about what we put into our bodies, our mind, and our environment. We are willing to shake things up to make a difference, and unlike other groups we don't tell you what to think, we just try to get you to.”
