Missouri Rock Band Good Literature Release Debut Album "Foreword"

The indie pop album released on Expat Records, contains all original music with songs about love, life, laughs and loss.

Springfield, MO, November 02, 2011 --(PR.com)-- Up and coming Missouri rock band Good Literature who earlier this year signed a deal with Expat Records have recently released their debut album "Foreword."

The band known for their alternative sound, a mixture of Southwest Missouri roots meets indie-pop have spent the most part of 2011 finalizing their album before its official release.

Guitarist Russell West comments “We’re really pleased with ‘Foreword’. Our signature Southwest Missouri, indie pop sound really comes out and our tracks have the catchiness of chart topping acts like John Mayer and Jason Mraz.”

The album is a natural progression for the Missouri band who have been playing shows throughout Branson and southern Missouri in the past months.

The live sound of the band has been especially impressive, and the sounds they bring rolls off as smooth as it does on the record.

Jeff Libby CEO of Expat Records comments “Good Literature isn’t just a loud group of Missourians. The guys write great lyrics and are very talented musicians. The sound is a solid capture of the new sound of the area and their songs talk about whiskey drinking, guitars, winning women over and losing them. It’s a real good listen all around.”

Foreword by Good Literature released by Expat Records is available now from iTunes, Amazon and many other online stores.
