The 20th Annual Yankee Sportsman’s Classic Show, Celebrate Vermont’s Hunting and Fishing Heritage

The 20th Annual Yankee Sportsman's Classic Show, sponsored by NBT Bank, will be held Jan 20-22 2012, at the Robert E. Miller Expo Center in Essex Junction, Vermont.

Essex Junction, VT, November 04, 2011 --(PR.com)-- The three day, 100,000 square foot event brings together 15,000 sportsmen, women and their families from all over, to celebrate Vermont’s hunting and fishing heritage.

During this long weekend, attend free seminars, check out the latest gear, boats, trucks, RVs, ATVs, take advantage of show specials, talk with wildlife and fisheries experts, and book the hunting or fishing adventure of a lifetime. The kids can visit the Talons Birds of Prey Experience and the Rainforest Reptile Show, try their luck at the catch and release trout pond, take part in the kids archery shoot, BB gun shoot and casting competition or climb the 20ft rock wall, and practice on the shooting simulator. Feel the laughter at the Bassmeister’s Fishing Comedy Show or learn to fly-fish at the indoor fly casting pond. With nearly 175 exhibitors, there is something for everyone.

With over 45 free seminars, everyone gets answers to their questions. Whitetail hunting will be presented by nationally acclaimed hunters such as The Benoit’s, Hal Blood, Scott Kirkpatrick, Ken Hammel, Dave Hentosh and others. Expert gun dog trainer Alec Sparks, famed Quaker Boy Turkey caller Joe Judd, top predator hunter Dick Drysdale, the Ice fishing gurus Dave Genz and Jamie Vladyka among others will all be on hand to share their secrets.

With one in five Vermonters taking to the fields and streams and spending $258 million annually, hunting and fishing is very important to Vermont’s culture and the rural economy. Come be a part of the show. For more information visit yankeeclassic.net or call 802-238-7501.
