Myosource Resistance Bands Coach Feels NFL Players Needed More Training

Coach Marlin McQueen says players needed more training, accountability for the pro season

Olathe, KS, November 03, 2011 --(PR.com)-- Ask any fantasy football player one frustrating thing about this particular 2011-2012 NFL season, and the answers will likely include “injury.” Starting at week one of the NFL season, several highly ranked players wound up on the injury list and have been out for several weeks. Coach Marlin McQueen from Myosource Kinetic Bands says that some of these injuries could have been prevented with better off-season training and accountability.

“The NFL lockout didn’t only take a toll on fans, but on players, too,” said Marlin McQueen, owner of Mysource Kinetic Bands. "If the players would have pushed themselves to work out harder and be in better shape for the season, the NFL’s Injury Report might look differently."

McQueen points to the lack of accountability and a rigorous program as the source for several of the player injuries. There is no doubt that even during the lockout, players worked out and stayed in shape. However, the injuries show that despite any training that may have been done on their own, players needed a higher level of training to be “game ready.”

“Even if it’s your job to work out and compete athletically, you need a program and the accountability to adequately train. If the NFL players would have had a coach to report to, and an NFL trainer pushing them harder, we might see fewer injuries this season,” said McQueen.
