Lavinia B. Masters Announces the Release of Her New Book, "Breathe Again"

A non-fiction survival memoir about how an 13-year-old girl overcame sexual abuse and turned it into a ministry of helping others

Dallas, TX, April 22, 2007 --(PR.com)-- Lavinia B. Masters announces the release of her book entitled: Breathe Again. Breathe Again is a compelling and gripping true story that took place on hot summer evening in the midst of her home at the age of 13. In the middle of the night a stranger interrupted Lavinia in the middle of her sleep and threatened that if she screamed or told anyone about him that he would kill her and her family.

Now, over two decades later, after being sexually assaulted by the hands of a stranger, Lavinia received a call from the Dallas Police Department regarding her "cold" and unsolved rape case. She was informed that due to today's advances in DNA technology, the department finally discovered the identity of Lavinia's rapist, that is currently incarcerated for other unrelated crimes.

In Breathe Again, Lavinia gives a full account of how her experience of being raped brought her from "misery to a woman of ministry." Lavinia Masters was prompted to write Breathe Again to encourage other women and men who have been victims of sexual assault.

Lavinia encourages every reader to use her book as a tool by which they can overcome any of their past traumas and become empowered. To find out further information about Lavinia or her guest appearances on CNN, local news and newspaper articles, log on to her website: www.mastersauthority.org
