Translation Plus Honored by National Minority Supplier Development Council

New Jersey-based language services company, one of the best companies for 2011 among 16,000 certified minority-owned businesses.

Hackensack, NJ, November 09, 2011 --(PR.com)-- Hispanic-owned language services provider Translation Plus, Inc. recently received recognition from the National Minority Supplier Development Council, Inc. (NMSDC) as a 2011 Regional Minority Supplier of the Year winner. The New Jersey-based firm is one of the 16 outstanding Asian, Black, Hispanic and Native American-owned businesses recognized at an award’s ceremony on November 2, 2011. The 16 regional winners were nominated by the corporate members. NMSDC-certified minority-owned businesses are evaluated on the basis of business growth, development and performance, community service and the ability to overcome challenges brought on by the company owner's heritage or background.

"NMSDC-certified suppliers bring added value to the corporate supply chain," said NMSDC President Joset Wright. "This year's regional suppliers of the year represent the best companies among our 16,000 certified minority-owned businesses. They are dedicated to delivering great products and quality service to their corporate customers, and NMSDC is proud to honor them."

This is an honor, according to Elisabete Miranda, president and chief executive officer of the firm, which was only possible because of the company’s employees and clients. “We have received many awards over the past few years, but this recognition is very special because we were nominated by the actual users of our services. Our focus and efforts is to be a people centric company and it is rewarding to see that it is working and making a difference.” She adds, “I sincerely would like to thank our employees, vendors and clients for making this possible.”
