Milford Academy Football Ends Season Undefeated

New Berlin, NY, November 09, 2011 --(PR.com)-- UCONN commit, Montrell Dobbs led the team with 169 yards rushing and 2 touchdowns. Montrell finished the season with a team leading 20 touchdowns and 1,366 yards. Dobbs is now the 2nd all-time rushing leader in Milford Academy Football history overtaking New York Jets running back Shonn Greene, Philadelphia Eagles running back LeSean McCoy and University of Miami running back Craig Cooper. Dobbs finished 88 yards shy of topping Los Angeles Rams and Doak Walker award running back Fred Russell.

Bobby Kinnebrew (Ansonia, CT) tied the all-time sack record held by Antonio Dixon now playing defensive tackle for the Philadelphia Eagles with 13.5 sacks.

Quarterback Erich Berzinskas was 7 of 10 for 127 yards and 3 TDs.

Leverne Jacobs had 4 receptions including 2 TDs.

Defensive End Shaquille Howard and linebacker John Galloway had an interception each.

The Falcons have won 22 of the last 23 games, finishing the first undefeated season in Coach Bill Chaplick's 12th year. The Falcons are now 108 wins with 31 losses for a .780 winning percentage under Coach Chaplck.
