Watching the Bride Grow Up on DVD

It's wedding season and wouldn't be great to watch the bride and groom grow up right before your eyes on DVD? This is great idea to incorporate during the ceremony.

Guelph, Canada, April 25, 2007 --(PR.com)-- In Father of the Bride, Annie finishes telling her parents she is getting married and her father George responds, "Excuse me, what did you say?" We then see Annie from George's point of view as they cut to a freckle-faced 5-year girl proclaiming, "Dad, I met a man in Rome, and he's wonderful, and brilliant, and we're getting married!"

Steve Martin's classic double-take brings the moment home for parents everywhere that young woman will always be their little girl. Walking down the aisle, we relive her first steps, first words, school plays, soccer games, braces, sweet sixteen, high school prom... Memories so precious you want to share them as part of the special wedding celebration.

Step One: Find shoeboxes of photos and home movies.

Step Two: Set aside baby photos, birthdays, school recitals, etc. It might take all afternoon, but she's worth it, right?

Step Three: Now what?

Enter Home Video Studio (HVS), a new video studio serving the entire Tri-city area established by Jacques LePage (a former Canon and Nikon technical trainer) to offer quality video services to businesses and individuals. With its professional digital editing and DVD authoring suite, HVS strives to make their clients feel like co-director of their project. Jacques explains, "Our equipment allows us to create custom photo montages and video projects on the computer and then preview them for clients." After the client screens and approves the "final cut", HVS custom designs a DVD with personalized titles, menus, music, and packaging. These DVD s are often created for special occasions, given as gifts and shown at weddings, anniversaries, graduations, and special birthdays. "People have told me their celebrations went on for hours, as family and friends gathered and watched the video over and over."

But HVS doesn't just do weddings. "We are seeing a great deal of interest in videos for class reunions, video yearbooks, sports scholarship videos, music and theater audition videos, and highlight videos for sports teams and musical groups." Nonetheless, Jacques' first love is working with families to make sure their histories are preserved forever. "It's a great experience priceless, actually," he says. "I enjoy every minute of the time it takes to make those smiles appear!"
