QA Graphics Hires Jason Sturges
QA Graphics, an Iowa-based interactive design firm, has hired a new Lead Programmer.
Ankeny, IA, November 17, 2011 --(PR.com)-- QA Graphics, an Iowa-based interactive design firm, is proud to announce the hiring of Jason Sturges. Jason has been hired as the company’s Lead Programmer.
QA Graphics provides creative services including rich internet applications, touchscreen application design, mobile application design, 3D design/animation, and other multimedia services to compliment organizations’ marketing and sales strategies. The company is also a leading source of design services for the building automation and green building industries, providing graphic outsourcing services and the award-winning Energy Efficiency Education Dashboard®, a solution used to educate building occupants about a building’s energy efficiencies.
Jason has joined the company’s interactive design team to lead the development of interactive applications and expand the capabilities of the company’s Energy Efficiency Education Dashboard product. With over 14 years of software development experience, Jason has an extensive set of technical skills including ActionScript 3.0, Flash, Flex, 3D visualization, advanced user interface experience, and knowledge across numerous platforms.
Prior to QA Graphics, Jason worked as an interactive developer at Two Rivers Marketing, where he was responsible for digital marketing and interactive media. He has worked as a software engineer at iSEEK Corporation and Engineering Animation, Inc., where he was responsible for geometric search engine and classification technologies and data management. He also spent two years working as a Flex developer at Quality Attributes Software. In this role he was immersed in the green building industry, involved in component development for energy dashboards and data visualization. This strong background and familiarity with the green building industry has allowed Jason to jump right into QA Graphics’ current projects and will allow him to further develop the company’s components for the Energy Efficiency Education Dashboard® product.
