The Note Gift Set makes a great and inexpensive holiday gift. Each gift set includes a signed, hardback edition of The Note, named Best Gift Book of 2011 in the Living Now Book Awards, plus a DVD video based on the book, a bookmark, and a set of three premium-quality “thank you” cards.

Downers Grove, IL, November 18, 2011 --(PR.com)-- Many print and online publications publish lists of "Holiday Gifts for under $10," and the Note Gift Set from Dream of Things is a candidate for those lists in 2011. Each gift set includes a signed, hardback edition of The Note, named Best Gift Book of 2011 in the Living Now Book Awards, plus a DVD video based on the book, a bookmark, and a set of three premium-quality “thank you” cards.

The Note by Mike O’Mary is a book about the power of appreciation and how a simple note can change a person’s life. The first half of the book tells the true story of a note of appreciation that the author received from his little sister. "The story behind the note will break your heart," says O'Mary, "but by the time you finish reading, your heart will be mended and filled with warmth."

The second half of the book focuses on the importance of showing appreciation, including tips and examples to help you write heartfelt notes of appreciation. The powerful and uplifting message of The Note is that a simple note of appreciation can change a person’s life and create positive feelings that ripple outwards and touch an ever-expanding circle of people–including all who read this book.

Mike O’Mary is author of The Note and of Wise Men and Other Stories, a collection of holiday-related essays. He is also founder of the Note Project, a campaign to make the world a million times better by inspiring people to write 1 million notes of appreciation. His stories and essays have been broadcast as part of National Public Radio’s “Morning Edition” program on Northern Illinois Public Radio, and published in numerous periodicals.
