Go-Ped GSR Cruiser Gas Scooter

The Go-Ped GSR Cruiser is the latest addition to UrbanScooters.com's comparison shopping engine, The Marketplace. The Marketplace lists the lowest prices online on thousands of recreational and transportation products from dozens of merchants.

South Pasadena, CA, November 18, 2011 --(PR.com)-- The GSR Cruiser from Go-Ped (aka PMW / Patmont Motor Works) is now listed in the UrbanScooters.com Marketplace. The Marketplace is a comparison shopping engine connecting the world with the best price on wheeled products from dozens of merchants across the Internet.

Patmont Motor Works started the motorized scooter craze over 20 years ago and has a reputation for crafting the highest quality, fastest, most powerful stand-up electric and gas scooters on the market. The GSR Cruiser is built with a rider in mind that doesn't need to race, but still wants all of the features and performance found in Go-Ped brand products. This one is a toned down version of a racing model known as the GSR46R. The GSR 46R is a racer with the fastest speed and best handling PMW manufacturers, but since all scooter enthusiasts want to race, the GSR Cruiser tones it down with a high quality version that's not amped up for racing. It's designed for commuting and cruising and has a more relaxed style.

The GSR Cruiser from Go-Ped has a small, but very powerful 29cc gas scooter engine called the GPL290. It's able to move a rider to up to 24 mph and gets somewhere around 35 - 40 miles per tank. Pretty much everything on this unit is the same as the GSR46R except the exhaust, which is much quieter, and the smaller engine. The Cruiser exhaust has a resonator on it that makes it quieter and more welcome by a rider's neighbors. It cuts back on the higher tones of the exhaust coming from the two stroke, 29cc motor. The best selling model from PMW is the Sport and this model comes next, after that.

The Go-Ped GSR Cruiser is the right choice for beginning riders and adults whose goal is to get from place to place rather than race. The gearing is tuned for optimal range and commuting. Because the 29cc motor is smaller, Patmont Motor Works has tightened the gear ratio so it performs like the GSR46R up to the maximum speed of 24 mph. The GSR46R has a higher top speed because its bigger engine can push taller gearing. The GSR Cruiser maintains more than adequate stopping power as it uses the same Mad Dog Disk braking system found on faster models.

There are quite a few higher priced racing models offered by PMW. The GSR Cruiser offers an affordable, performance driven, high quality model for beginning and adult riders. The more quiet exhaust and smaller engine give a subtle and smooth power that does not attract the attention of the police or your neighbors. It's a great compromise between comfort and performance while still holding the high quality that standard on all Go-Ped built product.
