Bulgaria to Get Online Premium Beer Store
Bulgaria’s first and only online retail outlet for quality international Craft Beers and Real Ales will launch on December 1st 2011.
Sofia, Bulgaria, November 23, 2011 --(PR.com)-- Beers. Bg (www.beers.bg), Bulgaria’s first and only online retail outlet for quality international Craft Beers and Real Ales, is the brainchild of Sofia residents Andy Sowray and Philip Walsh. Andy is well-known around Sofia and the rest of the country as the proprietor of Andy's Foods, a retail business which supplies UK and other expats with much-missed British and International foods and groceries in Sofia and across Bulgaria.
The beers featured at Beers.Bg will initially come from the UK, Germany and Belgium, but the pair also has plans to introduce products which match their high standards from other countries, in due course.
A former farmer from Yorkshire who also has who has extensive experience in food and drinks marketing, Andy has been in Bulgaria since 1999. His business partner Philip, originally from Manchester but living in London for many years before moving to Sofia around 18 months ago is a more recent arrival - although he has been a frequent visitor for several years, as his partner is a native Bulgarian.
Philip has a background in IT and Business Project Management in the financial services and legal fields and provides Internet presence and marketing support services to other businesses, both here and in the UK.
"That's how I initially got to collaborate with Andy," says Philip. "I created a new and updated version of his website, andysfoods.com, giving his clients the ability to order their favourite foods and drinks online.
"We got to discussing various interests and opportunities and Beers.Bg was the result. We’re confident that expats and native Bulgarians alike will welcome the chance to order premium beers to drink at home from the UK, Germany and Belgium at reasonable prices.
"We're both very excited about this new venture."
