Canadian Post-Rockers Kimika Re-Issue Octobre and Bipolaire on Fluttery Records

After signing to Fluttery Records, Kimika starts releasing on the label. Two albums by the band are available on the record label.

New York, NY, November 25, 2011 --(PR.com)-- Kimika is a post-rock band from Montreal, Canada. Over the years, Kimika has performed more than 70 concerts in numerous festivals and venues. They come from a place that put the milestones of post-rock music with the bands like Godspeed You! Black Emperor, Destroyalldreamers, Set Fire To Flames, Esmerine, Thisquietarmy and Broken Social Scene.

The band has signed a recording agreement with Fluttery Records (flutteryrecords.com). As a start, the label has re-issued their 2006 album Bipolaire and 2010 album Octobre. Kimika's albums can be streamed free or can be purchased on the label website.

Explosive and subtle, intense and sober Kimika is often referred to ambient movie scenes. Kimika has been recently invited to share is music with the Montreal Planetarium especially for the “Fragments of the Solar System” representation. Kimika’s music is sometimes compared to Sigur Rós, Godspeed You! Black Emperor, This Will Destroy You and Explosions In the Sky where they perform state of the art post-rock music in a beautiful harmony between roaring crescendos and melancholic movements.
