Holiday Inn Melaka Bags More Awards

Holiday Inn Melaka, the award winning hotel in Melaka has bagged 3 more awards at two separate award ceremonies that recognize top notch products and services in the hospitality industry.

Melaka, Malaysia, November 30, 2011 --(PR.com)-- During the Melaka Tourism Award, Holiday Inn Melaka walked away proudly with the best 4-Star Hotel Award. The hotel has received this award for 2 consecutive series, sitting on the top of the list since its inauguration in 2007.

On the other hand, Holiday Inn Melaka was conferred 2 awards at the fanfared Hospitality Asia Platinum Awards (HAPA), Regional Series 2011 – 2013. Holiday Inn Melaka bagged the Best Front Office Award and the Best Signature Deluxe Hotel, recognizing its achievement in delivering excellent service and product that makes the staying experience outstanding.

The Melaka Tourism Award (MTA), which was held at the hotel itself, was an initiative by the Malacca Tourism Association to award local players who contributed and promoted tourism industry in Melaka.

Meanwhile, the Hospitality Asia Platinum Award (HAPA) recognizes and awards the crème de la crème of the hospitality industry at all levels.

Dedicated to recognizing establishments who have shown drive, dedication and passion for the hospitality industry, HAPA categories are as diverse as the industry it serves with Personality Awards dedicated to service excellence and leadership, to categories ranging from best experience to be had in travel, golf, spa, food and entertainment.

The Oscar of Hospitality is held annually, with Malaysia and Singapore taking turns to host the event.
