Hope Hospice Tree of Lights

Hope's Tree Lighting ceremonies scheduled for next week.

New Braunfels, TX, December 01, 2011 --(PR.com)-- Hope Hospice will be holding its 27th Tree of Lights service the first week of December. The tree in New Braunfels will be lit at the New Braunfels Marketplace on Tuesday, December 6. The tree in Canyon Lake will be lit at the Canyon Lake CRRC on Thursday, December 8. Both ceremonies begin at 5:30 pm.

The New Braunfels event will feature Christmas Caroling, hot cocoa and cookies provided by Sterling House and barbecue chicken kebabs provided by National Hospice Medical Equipment. The Canyon Lake event will feature live music by Brett Graham and kicks off the opening of the CRRC’s North Pole Village. Santa will be in attendance at both events. In Canyon Lake, photos may be purchased for $5 (plus $3/person entrance fee to North Pole Village) and in New Braunfels, parents are encouraged to bring a camera to snap photos with Santa.

Every year since 1996 the Canyon Lake area is treated to a magical Christmas experience. With the help of many volunteer elves, the CRRC’s Recreation Center is transformed into a pint sized village for children featuring lots of fun activities for young and old alike.

Although the tree lighting services are free to attend, it is also a fundraiser for Hope Hospice. Funds are raised through sponsorships as well as individual gifts. Anyone wishing to donate may do so by mail or on the Hope Hospice website – www.hopehospice.net.
