Gobble Gobble! The Boys & Girls Club of the Lower Naugatuck Valley Hosts Its 32nd Annual Turkey Dinner with the Seniors

Shelton, CT, December 04, 2011 --(PR.com)-- On November 22, the Boys & Girls Club of the Lower Naugatuck Valley’s Keystone Club held its 32nd annual Turkey Dinner at the Shelton Senior Center. The event is free to all seniors who live in the Valley. The night kicked off at 5:00pm with key messages from the following influential speakers: Susan DeLeon-1st Vice President of the Boys & Girls Club Board of Directors, Shelton Mayor Mark Lauretti, Kathy Ramia- Executive Director of the Shelton Senior Center, Jack Walsh- Executive Director of Valley United Way, and Jack Ribas- Executive Director of the Boys & Girls Club of the Lower Naugatuck Valley. After dinner was served, Shelton Senior Center member Rene Caisse DJed the dance portion of the night. The teenagers from the Keystone Club had a great time learning dance moves from the Seniors. A few lucky Seniors went home with a gift certificate or prize from the raffle. The true test of the events success- everyone went home stuffed.
