About the author:

Michael G. Petranick is currently a graduate student at the University of Nebraska, Omaha, pursuing a Master’s Degree in History. He is also a graduate student at the American Military University pursuing a Master’s Degree in Military and Strategic Studies/Asymmetrical Warfare as well as a graduate degree in National Security Studies. This book is the result of a school assignment in which a five page veteran’s biography was to be written for a course. Realizing that there was a much bigger tale to tell, the author decided to write this book and honor his father by telling his story.
