)-- QA Graphics, a Des Moines-based interactive design firm, is proud to announce the hiring of Eric Hill. Eric has been hired as the new project manager for the company’s interactive design team.
Eric will lead QA Graphics’ interactive design team, overseeing the successful completion of all creative projects. He will be responsible for quality control, managing the design staff workload, and all communication with the clients and sales staff. Eric will largely be involved in projects involving the company’s Energy Efficiency Education Dashboard® solution, as well as QA Graphics’ other creative services including Flash development, 3D design and animation, touchscreen application design, kiosk development, mobile app development and other multimedia solutions.
Eric earned his Bachelor of Science in business management from Northwestern College in Roseville, Minnesota. He holds over seven years of management experience, having worked as a department manager, store manager, and most recently as project manager at Quality Attributes Software. Eric spent three years there as project manager, responsible for overseeing all project activities for software projects. In this role, he was heavily involved in the green building industry, involved in the development of energy dashboards for commercial, government and education markets. This strong background in energy dashboard development and familiarity of the green building industry will allow Eric to jump right into QA Graphics’ current projects, especially their Energy Efficiency Education Dashboard product, which is used to educate occupants about a building’s energy efficiencies and sustainable initiatives.
