CoreTherm Medical, Inc. Expand Mobilizer Business by Signing Paul Almaguer in Dallas

CoreTherm Medical, Inc., today announced that they have signed a contract with Dallas/Ft Worth area-based Paul Almaguer to become a new mobilizer for their CoreTherm® system.

Oldsmar, FL, December 10, 2011 --(PR.com)-- Paul Almaguer is the owner of UroMobile LLC and has been working as a mobilizer for some 10 years in the Dallas/Ft Worth-area. Mr Almaguer is a proud veteran of the US NAVY. Paul served as a Hospital Corpsman. UromobileLLC also offers a Uro-Dynamics service to physicians and urologists in the area. Mr. Almaguer has throughout the years built strong relationships with urologists in the Dallas/Ft Worth area by offering a mobile service similar to the one he will now offer for CoreTherm Medical Inc. (www.coretherm.com). By providing this mobilizer service to urology offices and clinics in the Dallas/Ft Worth area, some 300 - 450 patients per year will be offered a CoreTherm treatment. These are patients who will benefit from a safe and effective high-energy thermotherapy instead of undergoing surgery.

Commenting on the co-operation with CoreTherm Medical, Inc. Mr. Almaguer stated, “This new possibility is very exciting and I look forward to start offering my mobilizer service to urologists and patients in the Dallas/Ft Worth area. I am impressed with the support that CoreTherm Medical, Inc. provides and I am happy to know that I will be able to offer the most effective high-energy thermotherapy available."

CoreTherm is a non-surgical device intended as an in-office treatment for patients with benign prostate hyperplasia (BPH). Benign prostatic hyperplasia can cause a great deal of discomfort and frustration resulting from the inability to urinate normally. BPH occurs in approximately half of all men aged 50 years and older and up to 80% of men at 80 years of age. Benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH) is not cancer. However, left untreated BPH may damage the bladder and kidneys and drastically impact the quality of life.

CoreTherm utilizes a unique patented method to measure the actual core temperature in the prostate during treatment. The temperature is measured with a specially designed intraprostatic temperature probe and monitored throughout the treatment. The mobilizer service includes Mr. Almaguer bringing in all the equipment necessary to perform a treatment with CoreTherm at a urology office or private clinic. A treatment can be completed within 10 to 30 minutes and does not require general anesthesia, hence the patient can return home within 1 - 1,5 hours. CoreTherm significantly reduces BPH symptoms, preserves sexual function, and provides durable results. Treatment results are comparable with other treatment alternatives requiring hospitalization for several days. More than 20,000 men have been treated with CoreTherm world-wide and the treatment method is today used at around 200 hospitals and private clinics in Europe and the US.
