Two Visions Students Win First Place in Charter School Holiday Card Contest

Carmichael, CA, December 15, 2011 --(PR.com)-- Visions In Education, one of California's leading provider of Home schooling and Independent Study programs is proud to announce that two Visions students won first place in the Middleton, Young & Minney, LLP (MYM) “Design Our Holiday Card” art contest.

The overall theme of the art work was: “The Future of Our Nation” – contestants could design art work with any interpretation of this theme.

1st grade student Abigelle Jordan Buchanan, whose teacher is Susan McCroskey, won first prize in the grade K-3 category. Her theme was “Peace for Our Nation.” As first place winner she received $100.

11th grade student Olesya Emma Chernioglo, whose teacher is Lily Nichols, won first prize in the grade 9-12 category. Her theme was “Divided We Fall.” As first place winner she received $500.
