Ms. Abilities America Seeking Contestants

Tahlequah, OK, December 16, 2011 --(PR.com)-- Ms. Abilities America is a new pageant for those who happen to have physical or cognitive special needs. Currently in its first year, the Ms. Abilities America is seeking to crown state titleholders. The official crownings of State titleholders will be July 5-7, 2012. In 2013, the first National pageant will be held with as many states as possible.

This year, Kaprina Boutwell from Muskogee, Oklahoma has been wearing the title of Ms. Abilities America proudly as she promotes the newest pageant for those who happen to have special needs. The pageant is opened to ladies between the ages of 5 to 110. There is three catagories presently: Ms. Abilities America (18 to 110), Jr. Miss Abilities America (12-18), and Little Miss Abilities America (5- 12). The ladies will enter first as city titleholders. Then they will move to their state titleholders, and then progress to Nationals.

With this being the first year, the founders are holding a ribbon cutting this year, proceeding with the crowning of the first State titleholders. The National title will be rewarded in 2013 to one of the ladies who are crowned this year (2012) as state titleholders. The door is wide opened and this is one of the most inexpensive pageants around.

The state pageant cost $100 dollars to enter and the Nationals cost $500 dollars (the ladies are responsible for travel and hotel expenses).
