Chris Morris Releases New Single and Music Video - "Sunshine in the Rain"

Buena Park, CA, December 16, 2011 --(PR.com)-- "Sunshine In The Rain," is the new single from Singer/Songwriter Chris Morris. The Southern California bred artist calls this a confession of a "positive spirit who let their emotions get the best of 'em while arguing with the other half." The lush production of "Sunshine In The Rain" is fronted by Chris' soulful lead, rich harmonies and thoughtful lyrics. The instrumentation highlights a strumming acoustic guitar, hard hitting drums and of course Chris layering the keys.
"This was one of those songs that just poured out of me. It was written at the piano and was finished as soon as it began," Chris explains. What followed was momentum and synergy at its finest. "Recording and mixing was about a day and a half. During that process I called my good friend Micah (O'Hair of silencephoto.com) - a brilliant photographer - and asked if he would direct a guerilla style music video. We'd been making plans to do some music videos and figured it'd be perfect practice for the upcoming larger productions."
Next it was time to paint the picture. Chris states, "For the daytime shots, I picked out Griffith Park, which is my favorite place in L.A. Once we lost daylight, Micah suggested the Los Angeles Contemporary Music of Art. I jumped at the chance as I knew immediately what he had in mind for the night shots." Nevertheless shooting was done in a day and a half. Chris had the video edited within 24 hours. It can be seen on YouTube.com/theartofchris and @ www.theartofchrismorris.com.
Chris' friends and fans were quick to share the video via Facebook, Twitter, Soundcloud, Reverb Nation, etc. New fans are popping up worldwide as its already been played hundreds of times in multiple countries via Jango, a popular Internet Radio website.
