Absolutely Outdoors Receives Concrete Spa and Freeform Design Award in APSP International Awards of Excellence Competition
The Woodlands, TX, December 29, 2011 --(PR.com)-- Absolutely Outdoors won the prestigious Silver Medal in the "Concrete Spas" category and Bronze Medal in the "Freeform – 600 Sq Ft or Less" category during the Association of Pool & Spa Professionals’ International Awards of Excellence ceremony held on Tuesday, November 1, 2011 at the University of Nevada Las Vegas, in Las Vegas, Nevada.
The Woodlands based company received Silver Medal for the Concrete Spas Award for its installation in Magnolia, TX. This project included intricate detail with hand selected custom stone and glass elements to create the perfect elements of design.
The company also received Bronze Medal for the "Freeform – 600 Sq Ft or Less" category for its installation in The Woodlands, TX with a unique “floating spa” concept. This pool included touches of natural stone and veneer with large hand placed boulders, which gave it an elegance that fit perfectly with the residence.
Hundreds of installations were entered in the 2011 APSP International Awards of Excellence competition. During the ceremony sixty-eight builder-companies were announced as award recipients. There were 31 categories represented in total including seven categories outside of the US and Canada.
