Chincoteague Island, VA, January 02, 2012 --(PR.com)-- Start off the new year right by joining a talented and diverse group of 28 authors, promoting 29 books, who are touring with Pump Up Your Book! Virtual Book Tours during the month of January 2012.

Follow them as they travel the blogosphere from January 3rd through January 27th. There are genres for everyone: from literary novels to science-fiction, from middle grade adventure stories to young adult novels, from memoirs to self-help books and more.

W.H. Buxton returns this month with his fantasy/sci-fi novel, “Cyberlife.” Other authors continuing their tours include Joann Harris and “Rise of the Vampire,” Carole Eglash-Kosoff and her historical, “Winds of Change,” Terri Guiliano Long and her women’s fiction book, “In Leah’s Wake,” Greg Messel and his novel, “The Illusion of Certainty,” and Robert Nelson with his urban thriller, “Real Eyez Realize Real Liez.

Mystery novels come to you from Michael Craft and Lillian Melendez, while Peyman Pejman, Chris Shella and Pamela Samuels Young talk about their thrillers. Also on tour are Karen Glick, Gordon Gumpertz, Abby Lubby, Mary Stella and Vincent Tuckwood.

Young readers will be interested in the latest picture book by award-winning children’s author, Nancy Stewart. “Sea Turtle Summer” is the second book in her Bella and Britt series. Fiona Ingram is touring with her middle grade adventure book, “The Secret of the Sacred Scarab,” and Lory Kaufman returns to talk about the first two books in his young adult fantasy series, “The Lens and the Looker,” and “The Bronze and the Brimstone.” Also for young adults is the sci-fi novel, “The Star-Crossed Saga: Protostar” by Braxton Cosby.

You can get a head start on this year’s gardening plans with “How to Grow Apples in the Southern U.S.” by Trey Watson. Self-help books come to you from Kevin Burk, and Kimberly Riggins, while Rachel Greer returns with her poetry book, “Words of Inspiration from Your Own Kind.” Nicolette Dumke tours in January with her health/fitness book, “Food Allergy and Gluten-Free Weight Loss,” and Tom McLaughlin continues the tour for his travel journal, “Borneo Tom.” Also on tour are Alexia Fraser and returning author Fritz Sprandel.
