In this role, Snider is responsible for all aspects of annual fund and membership support from individuals, corporations, foundations and government agencies.

Farmington Hills, MI, January 06, 2012 --(PR.com)-- The Holocaust Memorial Center Zekelman Family Campus (www.holocaustcenter.org) in Farmington Hills announced the appointment of Beth Snider as its director of annual giving.

In this role, the Oak Park resident is responsible for all aspects of annual fund and membership support from individuals, corporations, foundations and government agencies. Snider also works closely with the director of development to sustain current fundraising initiatives and develop strategies to broaden fundraising potential to support the Holocaust Memorial Center and its new transformative vision.

“We are very proud to have someone with Beth’s credentials and experience join our organization,” said Holocaust Memorial Center Executive Director Stephen M. Goldman. “Her expertise will help us solidify our relationships with existing donors and reach out to potential supporters in the community.”

Prior to joining the Holocaust Memorial Center, Snider held positions as director of development at the Detroit Science Center, foundation and government grants manager for the Detroit Symphony Orchestra, and associate editor with Metro Parent Publishing Group.

Snider graduated from Wayne State University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Journalism. She also attended The Fund Raising School of The Center on Philanthropy at Indiana University.

It is the mission of the Holocaust Memorial Center Zekelman Family Campus to remember those who perished and those who survived the Holocaust and, in a world increasingly faced with sectarian strife and intolerance, to set forth the lessons of Holocaust as a model for teaching ethical conduct and responsible decision-making. By highlighting those individuals who, in the midst of evil, stood for the best, rather than the worst of human nature, the Holocaust Memorial Center seeks to contribute to maintaining an open and free society.

The facility is wheelchair accessible and free parking is available at both the North and South entrances.
