Mecca Design & Production Creates an Historical Timeline Photo Wall Display with 3-D Bottles for New Dublin Dr. Pepper Museum in Dublin, Texas

Mecca Design & Production created new 3-D photo montage wall displays for the new W.P. Kloster Museum Annex in Dublin, Texas for Dublin Dr. Pepper including history of Prim and Kloster family biographies and stories of "Mr. Dr. Pepper."

Dallas, TX, January 14, 2012 --(PR.com)-- Mecca Design and Production, a leading event and trade show exhibit design group, designed and fashioned new three-dimensional photo montage wall displays for the new W.P. Kloster Museum Annex in Dublin, Texas. The new museum annex opened Saturday, December 3, 2011 and honors Billie Kloster, "Mister Dr. Pepper," as the longtime owner of the Dublin Dr. Pepper bottling plant, the oldest Dr. Pepper bottling plant in the world. Complete with green bottles that appear to move along the bottling line, the 3-D photo biography wall fills a hallway with "moving" artwork and shares the story of important people in the history of Dublin Dr. Pepper as well as the role of the plant in the town of Dublin. The biographies and timeline on the wall begin with detail of the legacy of the Sam Houston Prim and his family, the first bottler of Dublin Dr. Pepper in 1891; his daughter Grace Prim Lyon, was the only woman in the country in the 1960s to manage a Dr. Pepper franchise. The photo timeline goes on to tell the story of the Kloster's ownership of the plant and Mr. Kloster's generosity to the community, as well as the legacy carried on by his son and grandsons. There are seven different categories shown on the wall for the self-guided tour: The Legacy Continues, Mastering the Mayhem, The W. P. Kloster Years, The Early Years, National Recognition, Celebrating the Heritage, Giving Back.

Lori Dodd, of Dublin Dr. Pepper shared, "It was a real pleasure to work with everyone at Mecca; knowledge of materials (green coroplast for the bottles) put the display over the top on this creative, professional job. I think it is as close to ideal without creating it myself. And I know that Mr. Kloster was very impressed."
