Texas Trust Credit Union Named Business of the Year

The Grand Prairie Chamber of Commerce Named Texas Trust Credit Union Business of the Year for 2011.

Mansfield, TX, January 20, 2012 --(PR.com)-- Texas Trust Credit Union took top honors, winning the 2011 Business of the Year Award, at the annual community awards ceremony of the Grand Prairie Chamber of Commerce.

Jim Minge, President and CEO of Texas Trust accepted the award, which was presented by the 2012 Chamber Chairman of the Board, Milt Highfill, at the annual awards ceremony.

Texas Trust has been serving the community of Grand Prairie for more than 20 years. Two of its eight branches are in Grand Prairie and a third will be opening at the end of March.

The Grand Prairie Chamber designated Texas Trust as the 2011 Business of the Year because of its ongoing commitment to the residents of Grand Prairie, its service and support of the Chamber, and for its community relations initiatives. Texas Trust was recognized for its support of Our Kids Can, its donation of more than $25,000 and 11,897 pounds of food to the North Texas Food Bank, and its partnership with the Grand Prairie Independent School District, which included nearly $23,000 in financial donations for the schools last year.
