1st Annual Miss Black Louisiana USA National Wear Red Day/Celebrity Date Auction

MBL National Wear Red Celebrity Date Auction, Thursday, February 2, 2012, 8 PM, 600 Main Street, Baton Rouge, LA

Baton Rouge, LA, January 28, 2012 --(PR.com)-- Miss Black Louisiana USA is hosting a Celebrity Date Auction in Baton Rouge on Thursday, February 2 at 600 Main beginning at 8 PM. The auction will be staffed by the Baton Rouge American Heart Association to speak to attendees about heart disease. The event will also feature local vendors and a red signature drink for the evening. Proceeds from the auction will benefit the Baton Rouge American Heart Association and expenses to send Ashley Hebert, Miss Black Louisiana USA 2012 to compete in the national Miss Black USA pageant. Miss Hebert serves as a voice of The Heart Truth® campaign of the National Heart, Lung, and Blood Institute (NHLBI) to make women nationwide aware of the danger of heart disease.

Some of the night’s auctionee’s are: R&B Songstress, Princess Denisia ; U4ria lead singer, Arianne "The Creole Cutie"; Author of “20 Thoughts Every Woman Should Have”, Christy “CeCe” Chapman; Miss Southern University 2011-12, Chisolu Isiadinso; New Orleans Bodybuilder and Fitness guru, Kodi Davis; Former Cincinnati Bengals Captain & President of the Ky Cares Foundation, Ky Hebert; 2005 New England Patriots Superbowl Champion, Eric Alexander; 2009 San Diego Chargers NFL Draft, Demetrius Byrd; R&B Sensation, Roi “Chip” Anthony; Max 94.1 On-Air personality, DJ Ya Boy Earl; and State Representative-Elect , Vincent "Vince" Pierre.
