Raleigh, NC, February 02, 2012 --(PR.com)-- Spring is welcomed to North Carolina each year at the end of February with the NC Junior Golf Foundation's Spring Preview Tournament at Campbell University. This nationally ranked junior golf tournament allows players to return to competitive mode at the start of the high school golf season and build up momentum as summer approaches and the southeast is full of high quality junior tournaments. The NC Junior Golf Foundation is a unique volunteer operated non-profit organization that exists to provide affordable, quality high integrity junior tournaments for all junior golfers. The organization was formed to address the high cost of participating in nationally ranked junior golf tournaments and to provide opportunities for young men and women to compete on top ranked golf courses.

The February 25-26 event at Campbell University had many players committed to compete and has one of the lowest entry fees available for a 36 hole nationally ranked event, $65.

For 2012 the event has added an additional, team challenge at no cost to players. This special event is for high school boys to help kick off their season. The field at this event includes boys and girls in grades 6-12.

Other NC Junior Golf Foundation events include play at Duke University, UNC Chapel Hill, NC State University, Pinehurst and top ranked courses in the region. The Foundation does not charge a membership fee and members include players from many states and several countries.
