Basalite® Expands to Meet Demand in British Columbia, Canada.
Dixon, CA, February 02, 2012 --(PR.com)-- Basalite® Concrete Products is pleased to announce the construction of its new Dry Mix Manufacturing Facility located in Surrey, British Columbia.
The new state-of-the-art facility will produce Sakrete® Pre Mixes, Concrete Repair products, Grouts, Mortars, and Shotcrete product lines. The new facility will also provide Basalite® the opportunity to supply custom, pre-blended products to meet the needs and requirements of customers.
The new plant, located at 8650 130th Street, is next door to the existing block manufacturing facility. Upon completion of the plant in the summer this year, customers will be able to combine dry mix, block line, retaining wall and accessories into one purchase order and pick-up.
As the new plant comes on line this summer, the Vancouver Marpole operations will be moved over to the Surrey location. Basalite® will announce specific dates for the transition.
