Not Just a New Job, an Amazing New Life: The Job Published by Outskirts Press

In these days of high unemployment, Cramer Louis Jackson’s new science fiction romance provides a timely look at the despair of the out-of-work, but also offers a perky promise of that ideal job - really ideal job - that may still be out there.

Oceanside, CA, February 02, 2012 --(PR.com)-- Author, Cramer Louis Jackson announced today the release of The Job, published by Outskirts Press. Jackson’s novel will be appreciated by all those who have received one too many, “thanks, but no thanks” in response to their resumes as it follows an unemployed man who suddenly receives a job offer beyond his wildest dreams and a position that gives him a startling new identity as well as a dazzling new love.

Day after day Joe has been scouring the want ads and standing in lines trying to find a job, but he’s found only disappointment instead. He’s about to give up when he receives a curious letter from an unknown employer. So begins the most unusual job interview Joe has ever had.

Following one mysterious step after another in the interview process, Joe finally understands that this is a position only he is qualified to hold -- and what a position it is. He ends up with a new identity, a new life, and a new love.

He also ends up encountering sinister forces bent on destroying him and the woman he now loves. The twists and turns that Jackson provides on Joe’s path to escaping this evil – including the millions of people who see a strange object in the earth’s skies – are done with a cinematic brilliance that keeps readers turning pages.

Jackson’s occasional experience with unemployment lines himself allows him to empathize with job seekers and the disappointments they may have to endure. The Job, a fictional adventure of being offered a job like no other on earth with a woman beyond one’s dreams, may be just the literary sustenance needed to regain the energy one needs to send out yet one more resume.

The Job is available on-line in paperback through Amazon and Barnes and Noble and at www.outskirtspress.com/bookstore for a maximum trade discount in quantities of ten or more.
