Brooklyn Industries Crashes Into Spring with a Fashion Week Event

Brooklyn based fashion brand gets creative for Fashion Week as they launch their Spring 2012 Collection.

Brooklyn, NY, February 03, 2012 --(PR.com)-- Brooklyn Industries will celebrate their Spring 2012 Collection launch during New York’s Fashion Week with a cocktail party and fashion presentation from 7pm-9:30pm on February 10, 2012 at 801 Broadway, New York, NY 10003. A labor of love by the design team, the Spring Collection, inspired by J.G. Ballard’s 1973 novel Crash was stylistically interpreted to include a message that centers around humanity and technology, injected with elements of eroticism and modernity. Despite dealing with such a heavy muse, Brooklyn Industries designers made sure to fuse a light-hearted playful approach into the collection while gracing the surface of the novels rich themes.

Though the season includes ranges for women, men and children, this event is an adults only fete featuring Los Angeles DJ SoSuperSam, signature cocktails by Brooklyn Gin, sweets by Dough and something savory from Brooklyn Salsa. A fashion presentation and live art demonstration will highlight the thematic nature of the event and draw attention to J.G. Ballard’s message while highlighting the collection in its entirety.

The night will come to a close with the unveiling of this season’s Special Edition Handbag and Crash inspired artwork that will have been produced onsite during the event. RSVP to PR@brooklynindustries.com
