Soul/Jazz Recording Artist John and Gina Carey prepare for the releases of their new solo Albums "Smooth and Funky" and "Love Letters."

This multi talented husband and wife team plan to release their solo project simultaneously on February 14, 2012. “Love Letters" includes 10 beautifully delivered songs all well written, arranged, composed and produced by Gina Carey. "Love Letters" is a combination of Soul, R&B, funk and & smooth jazz. Her husband Soul /Jazz Guitarist John Carey has also dazzled this CD with his sultry Guitar licks on every track and vocal contributions in “Love Joy & Peace.”

Gina's last CD "Melodic" soared all the way up the #1 spot on the UK Soul charts. She shared the Top 30 charts will soul divas Jill Scott, India Aire and Aretha Franklin. Melodic was also named one of the Top Soul Albums of the year in the November/December 2011 issue of "Soul Brother Records,” One of the largest Records stores still standing in the UK. Recording artist such as John’s wife, Gina Carey is featured on songs such as Old School, Who Am I, & I’m into you, Smooth Jazz Recording Artist Will Donato (Funkability) who is also featured on award winning & chart topping Smooth Jazz Artist Steve Oliver’s CD, can also be heard on John Carey’s hot Latin jazzy tune “Spicy.” T-Connection, a funk and disco group from Nassau, the Bahamas, who scored two hits on the Billboard Hot 100 between 1977 and 1979, Theophilus Coakley (Piano) & Kirkland Coakley (Bass) were also featured on “We Came Here To Party.”
