)-- Delhi-based rock band, Sifar plans to release their 2nd EP in April this year, and 3rd release overall since their debut EP in July last year and full length album in October '11. The band posted on their Facebook page that the EP will be titled "2," and will include 4 of the songs that they have been playing live but haven't recorded yet. "We are looking forward to start recording in the studio again. We already have arranged the songs and have been playing them live so the process is going to be slightly different from last time," says Producer/ Singer/ Songwriter Amit Yadav.
They will also include one fan remix of their song "Mita Do" (from their full length album) in the EP as announced on their blog. "The contest is really exciting - We are already getting entries within a couple of days of starting the contest, and some really cool stuff is happening. Really interesting to see how different people interpret our song, and apply their unique styles to it," adds Yadav.
Sifar was recently voted as the 2nd best rock band in South Asia in the first edition of Indiego Music Awards, and band members Amit Yadav and Anshul Bansal were also the judges for the finals of Channel (V) Launchpad (Hindi) at Nokia Indiafest 2012.
