Greene County Tourism Committee Approves Chase Jennings for Internship

Greensboro, GA, February 09, 2012 --(PR.com)-- The Greene County Tourism Committee recently appointed Chase Jennings to an internship supervised under Lauren Neal, tourism director for Lake Oconee and Greene County Tourism. Mr. Jennings started his internship February 1st and will continue through the spring semester of 2012.

"We are so pleased to have Chase Jennings as our intern for the spring,” Ms. Neal commented. “He will be providing the county with much needed assistance with our office operations while learning what services our office provides to the community. Approved to serve the Greene County Tourism in the spring of 2012, Chase Jennings has lived in the community of Greensboro, Georgia since 2001. Jennings is on track to graduate Athens Technical College this summer with a degree in Hotel, Restaurant, and Tourism Management. Jennings enjoys spending time with his brothers and watching football.

Athens Technical College’s Hotel, Restaurant, and Tourism Management Program is an associate degree or diploma program that includes a mix of Technical College Certificate courses such as events coordinator, food and beverage director, front office manager, hospitality customer service, hospitality industry human resources assistant, hospitality operations associate, hostel management specialist and restaurant manager.
