Nashville Recording Artist, Rachael Johnson to Appear on Canadian Country Artist, Jimmy Whiffen’s New Album, “Bad Guy”

Nashville, TN, February 10, 2012 --(PR.com)-- Nashville Recording Artist, Rachael Johnson lends background vocals on Canadian Country Artist, Jimmy Whiffen’s new album, “Bad Guy”, for the single “Prayin The Hell Out Of Me” to release in in early 2012.

With a busy year behind her, Rachael has toured the Southeast, earned a coveted place as one of the house bands at the World Famous Wildhorse Saloon, been in high demand as a studio singer and teamed with Nashville’s Artits to the Stars, Corey Frizzell of the famed Lefty Frizzell lineage for representation.

The Frizzell family, most famous for its prominence on the Country Music Charts, is witnessing the artistic successes of the second generation. Although he has siblings following in the Frizzell music footsteps, who have accepted the challenge of emerging from the giant shadow first cast by the family music patriarch, Lefty Frizzell, Corey chose a different path, a path to create his own shadow.

With royal country music blood running through his veins, Frizzell has come full circle and been named the Artist to the Stars for his artistic collaboration with some of Country Music, Bluegrass and Country Gospel Music's biggest names including, George Jones, Randy Travis, Brad Paisley, Alan Jackson, Mark Newton, Carl Jackson, Mark Chesnutt, Gene Watson and Joe Nichols to name a few. 2010 found Frizzell branching out into artist management, working with Country Star, Ken Mellons and Country Newcomers Chris Caskey and Rachael Johnson.

A Nashville transplant, Rachael Johnson grew up in Mt. Airy, NC, the original “Mayberry”, a place memorialized in American’s hearts as the beloved home town on the Andy Griffith Show. Three years in TN has found Johnson as an in demand solo artist, playing 20 to 25 shows a month in Nashville, surrounding cities and occasionally, out of state, sharing the stage with Country Stars like Jo Dee Messina, Josh Thompson, Little Texas, Dave Gibson, Chris Young, Craig Campbell and Trent Tomlinson to name a few.

She would begin to amass loyal fans, frequenting her full band live shows and the respect of established songwriters by showcasing her own original songs at Nashville’s famed writer’s nights. In 2011, The Rachael Johnson Band had the distinctive honor of being named the weekly house band at Nashville’s world famous Wildhorse Saloon.
