NLAPW Hosts "Branching Out" Convention

Combing Centennial Cherry Blossom Festival activities with National League of American Pen Women (NLAPW) events, League members host their 2012 biennial convention, "Branching Out."

Washington, DC, February 10, 2012 --(PR.com)-- Well-known for their nation-wide creative arts activities, the National League of American Pen Women (NLAPW) challenge those who participate in the centennial Cherry Blossom Festival to "branch out" – attend events that expand an exposure to 21st century art, author readings and music concerts. Held April 19th -21st at L’Enfant Plaza Hotel this event showcases the works of award winning NLAPW members as well as Festival events held through out the District of Columbia (DC).

Branching Out – 2012 Biennial Convention
Featuring poet laureate poetry readings, music concerts, a national juried art exhibit, awards presentations, tour of the Pen Arts building, and creative arts workshops, the convention is open to the public. Students, novices, or professionals explore niche arts while celebrating a centennial event.
