ISMG Announces the 2012 Cloud Security Survey

Princeton, NJ, February 12, 2012 --(PR.com)-- Information Security Media Group (ISMG) announces the launch of its 2012 Cloud Security Survey. This study, the first global survey spanning all of ISMG's media sites, will look at not only organizations' cloud security concerns, but also at how security leaders are addressing these concerns through policy, technology and improved vendor management.

This web-based research study, crafted with assistance from leading experts in cloud computing, security and privacy, will cover:

Top Security Concerns - Are organizations more concerned about where their data is stored, or whether a malicious insider might be a threat to it?

Success Factors - On a scale with cost savings and availability of services, how does security now rank among elements critical to a successful cloud computing implementation?

Protective Measures - What are some of the practices organizations are now employing, from instituting more stringent contracts to enforcing third-party audits and even participating in mock security exercises with cloud service providers?

The study will also cover cloud computing trends by industry and region; how senior leaders are making their cloud decisions; and top cloud-service investments projected for 2012.

Please visit http://www.govinfosecurity.com/surveys.php?surveyID=12 to view survey details. Survey results will be presented in a variety of ways across ISMG sites, including an executive summary, annotated report, podcast analysis and a webinar presentation on the results, including a roundtable discussion among thought-leaders on the 2012 cloud security agenda.

Results of the 2012 Cloud Security Survey will also be shared at major industry events, including RSA Conference 2012.
