)-- "Ladron Que Roba A Ladron" is a heist/caper movie in the tradition of "Ocean's Eleven," but pulled off by a group of immigrant workers who team up to rob an evil, wealthy entrepreneur. The result is a motley crew of underdogs, undertaking an impossible task, at impossible odds.
Actor Richard Azurdia co-stars alongside Spanish film and television stars Saul Lisazo, Miguel Varoni, Gabriel Soto, and Fernando Colunga. The Jim McNamara/ Ben O'Dell project was written by Jose Angel Henrickson and directed by Joe Menendez. The film is scheduled to be released by Lionsgate in theaters August 31, 2007.
Richard Azurdia is a Los Angeles native whose inherent ability to portray a wide range of characters has led to his involvement in TV, independent films and over 40 theater productions. In film, Azurdia is most recognized for his lead role in the award winning comedy "America 101" (now available on DVD). Azurdia’s other credits include roles in the award winning films "The Disappeared", "Blackberries" and "Hunting of Man". His TV credits include TNT’s “Wanted”, NBC’s mini-series “Kingpin” and “General Hospital”. You can see him on stage at the Hayworth Theater in John DiFusco's "Walk'n Thru The Fire" from June 15 - July 22.
