Loreck Homes President and Staff Will Ride Together to Help Conquer Cancer

Loreck Homes to Participate in the Enbridge Ride to Conquer Cancer.

Airdrie, Canada, February 17, 2012 --(PR.com)-- For the third year in a row, Loreck Homes President, Len Gieck, and his staff will be participating in the Enbridge Ride to Conquer Cancer. The RTCC is a two day, 220km bike race that benefits the Alberta Cancer Foundation.

Last year, the Ride to Conquer Cancer boasted over 2,000 participants, and raised close to $8 million for cancer research. The RTCC takes participants out of Calgary, and through the majestic Alberta Rockies to the Chain Lakes. Money raised for the Alberta Cancer Foundation directly benefits patients and families of the Tom Baker Cancer Centre in Calgary, the Cross Cancer Institute in Edmonton, and 15 other cancer centres throughout Alberta.

“So many people are affected by cancer every year,” said Gieck, “this race is a great way to show support and raise funds for cancer research and treatments.”
