London, United Kingdom, February 18, 2012 --(PR.com
)-- The Sportsbook Guardian website have unveiled the web functionality for gamblers to review bookmakers directly from their own experience. Currently the team have professionally reviewed eleven of the leading sports betting sites, with reviews including the newly rebranded BetVictor (previously Victor Chandler), Ladbrokes, Stan James, Bwin, and William Hill.
The intention was to offer users the opportunity to augment the Sportsbook Guardian reviews with their own opinions, if they choose they can agree with the website’s impartial opinion, or if they have had a different service experience an open platform to critique the bookmakers is provided.
The webmaster responsible for the project, Dita Pacrami writes: “because most of us have worked in the betting industry we viewed our opinions as having weight, but speaking with users at the ICE conference we were told that sometimes our views were at odds with those of individual bettors. The new system should let people say what they want and unless obscene language is put down we intend to be free as possible in allowing review comments to grow.”
Dita reports that after much testing, the user reviews feature was intentionally kept as uncomplicated as possible. It was decided to simply offer a box for written comments and a simple star rating system.
In other developments Spread Betting Guardian
(sister site to Sportsbook Guardian) will be undergoing a similar rebrand that should be completed by the end of Summer 2012.
