Octagon President Named as a Finalist for Best Product Development or Engineering Executive

Wayne, PA, May 19, 2007 --(PR.com)-- CEO & Chairman Jim Walker of Octagon Research Solutions, Inc., a pioneer and leader in the electronic transformation of clinical R&D in the life sciences industry, announced today that Octagon’s President Kirk Gallion, has been named as a finalist in the 2007 American Business Awards. Mr. Gallion is a finalist in the category of Best Product Development or Engineering Executive.

The American Business Awards, or “Stevies”, recognize the efforts and achievements of individual performers in business. The Stevie Awards were created to honor and generate public recognition of the efforts, accomplishments, and positive contributions of companies and business people worldwide.

Mr. Gallion holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Physics from Frostburg State University where he was a member of numerous honor societies in math and physics.
