Royal India Restaurant Celebrates 5th Annual Punjab New Year with Bollywood Bash Party

The Downtown San Diego restaurant will ring in the Indian New Year with traditional Indian dishes, music, dancing and more, on April 20th & 21st.

The Punjab celebration, the most popular and widely celebrated festival in India, is a day of renewal that marks the Indian New Year. It is the day in which Indians of all ages, languages, states and sects usher prosperity into their homes and businesses.

Co-Owners Sam and Jag Kambo are pleased to once again bring the New Year’s celebration to Royal India with a celebratory $59.99 3-course menu, complete with a glass of champagne, live music, Bollywood dancing and traditional festival décor. Guests will also receive a complimentary Indian dessert during the celebration.

“Bollywood” is the informal term commonly used for the Hindi-language film industry based in Mumbai, Maharashtra, India, and is typically represented by flashy dancing and singing.
