Ellesmere Port, United Kingdom, March 01, 2012 --(PR.com
)-- Secure Electrans have innovated and developed HomePay, the EMV compliant secure payment solution that will facilitate in-home eCommerce and Mobile Chip&PIN payments. The move is significant as it represents the company’s evolution from research and development to market deployment, necessitating larger and more secure premises.
The new Electrans’ facility incorporates layered physical and logical protection and is situated within a secure compound alongside other advanced technology research and development facilities.
“Electrans’ HomePay provides an accredited foundation for a wide range of financial payment and online authentication transactions where trust in the integrity and security of the product is essential. Electrans’ new facility has been established to satisfy both regulatory requirements and the stringent security compliance needs of our strategic partners and clients,” commented Secure Electrans’ Managing Director, Chris Jarman.
“Our new secure facility provides the extra space needed to support our continued growth and to accelerate multiple concurrent projects and implementations. This is exciting time for our dedicated team of industry professionals at Electrans and for our implementation partners.”
The move ensures privately funded Secure Electrans remains on track to launch HomePay in 2012, and is in line with their continuing programme of technical and operational expansion.
