SolSolution Seeking Tax-Equity Investors for New Projects

In order for SolSolution to grow exponentially and achieve its dual environmental and educational mission, SolSolution is actively seeking tax-equity investors to fund upcoming solar school projects.

Boston, MA, March 02, 2012 --(PR.com)-- SolSolution officially inaugurated its first solar school project in December 2011 on Aruna's Place preschool in Sudbury, MA. With their first installation completed and running smoothly, SolSolution has now turned their attention to connecting with new schools across the greater Boston area. In order for SolSolution to grow exponentially and achieve its dual mission of generating clean, renewable energy and improving the quality of education in schools, SolSolution is actively seeking tax-equity investors to fund upcoming solar school projects.

SolSolution is searching for investors who are not only looking for market-rate returns but are also interested in the social impact of SolSolution's projects. They have been meeting with several new schools throughout the first few months of 2012 and are confident about the prospect of installing 1 MW by the end of the year.

Over the 20-year lifetime of the Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) that Aruna's Place has signed with SolSolution, the 3.9 kW system will generate over 4,000 kWh of electricity per year, translating to 154,000 lbs of CO2 emissions reductions and nearly $30,000 in energy cost savings. These financial savings will allow the teachers at Aruna's Place to focus more funds towards more valuable educational resources for their young students. In addition, these students will have a unique opportunity to learn about solar energy from the beginning of their academic careers.
