)-- With 54 sales in February, Neal Communities surpassed its biggest single month of home sales in the past decade. Not since February 2004, when the Lakewood Ranch-based homebuilder recorded 52 sales in a month, has the company achieved such high sales volume.
Recently named the 2012 America’s Best Builder in its category, Neal Communities accelerated its already strong sales pace for the year after selling 33 homes in January, which was up 43% from a year earlier.
“Momentum looks strong heading into March,” said Neal Communities’ president and namesake, Pat Neal. “In the final week of February we had our biggest week of traffic, up 40% compared to this time last year,” Neal notes.
Website traffic also rose 54% in February compared to a year ago. And inquiries to Neal Communities’ online concierge doubled from January to February this year.
Home sales took place across 10 neighborhoods, four in Lakewood Ranch and six in surrounding communities. The top three are all in Lakewood Ranch. The Country Club led the way with 12 sales, followed by Central Park with 11 and Country Club East with eight. Belleisle in Country Club East has seven of the eight sales.
Forest Creek in Parrish succeeded with six sales, Arlington Cove in Englewood contributed five sales, and Harborage, Wisteria Park, and Woodbrook each won over three new homebuyers.
