)-- The Chef’s Academy (http://www.thechefsacademy.com), the Culinary Division of Harrison College, a 110-year-old, nationally accredited institution that offers 40 degree programs in five schools of study, has announced it will host the Greater Raleigh Chamber of Commerce’s Business After Hours event on Thursday, March 8 from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. located at 2001 Carrington Mill Blvd. in Morrisville, N.C. The building and its three state-of-the-art kitchens will remain open for viewing purposes as the culinary institute will feature a “March Madness” theme outside by roasting a pig and hosting a competition between the culinary students for the best tailgating recipe in the style of the ACC basketball tournament. The chamber’s Business After Hours event is hosted in a different location each month by various sponsor companies throughout the greater Raleigh area, providing business professionals with networking and relationship-building opportunities.
“The Chef’s Academy is excited to sponsor Business After Hours, one of the chamber’s most popular member events,” said Jayson Boyers, national division president of The Chef’s Academy. “Our culinary students are eager to impress the visiting business professionals with their special creations, and this occasion allows them invaluable networking opportunities with chamber members as well that can result in productive future partnerships.”
